It's wet and I was shivering this morning. So human brought me in so I could go in my room and dry off. I got lots of yummy hay, Frank, Bracken and Spirit were all in as well so good company as well. Great.
Human doesn't understand why this year I have been feeling the cold. Never happened in years before. I don't really understand it either.
This is one of the 4 legged rat catchers from the village camped out in the feed room where the nasty rats hang out. Go on little pussy cat, catch them nasty rattys.
Zoe,
ReplyDeleteI had to blanket Baasha today too because it's suddenly 11C out during the day and less at night, and he's very old now. Something like 85 in human years. The funny thing is the donkey had absolutely no problem being rained on hard all day long. She's fat, and only 6. No shivering! Amazing. Right now they're both in the stall drying out until they feel like braving the weather again. I don't know why you're suddenly sensitive to bad weather but if your weather was like ours last week, it was HELL-HOT - 28! I was soooooo pissy at work all week. I just couldn't get comfortable. Now I'm better but the horses experienced a dramatic shift and so, blankets in June!
How old are you now? I hate to say it but when you get older, you are more sensitive to weather changes.
I wish you a cozy night despite the downpour.
Oh bless you Zoe. Grrrrr to the rain and cold. It is dry up here (but whisper that!) but turned cold and breezy. I tried working in the garden but it was brrrrrrrrrrr so gave up and came in, i,ended up watching the flotilla for the jubilee. And then did damn all for the rest of the day and then i had the cheek to fall asleep. I hope you are dry now, and i look forward to the oics of your human carrying you, glad you think it is a good idea. ;-). X
ReplyDeleteTell your Human your cold because you're skinny. If she falls for it you'll get more munchies!!! Worth a try anyhow don't ya think?
ReplyDeleteCamryn that is a brilliant idea thankyou.
