Human was early today. She did the normal chores and in I came. We stopped off for me to have a munch at the salad bar. Mmmm yum all you can eat. Not so sure about the do-it-yourself salad but it stops Frank from pinching it.
Into the yard and I waited outside my room while I got brushed and left lots of winter fluff for the birds again. Not quite as much as yesterday but still a fair pile.
I popped in my room for a munch and a chat with Frank while the humans had a drink. Human came in and saw I had moved my munch bucket next to the water. "Thats not a good place for it" she said and moved it to the other side of my room. Well I wanted it by my water bucket. I was feeling rather grumpy so picked up the bucket and threw it at human who was stood by the water bucket. There that's where I want it thankyou. My bucket, my room, my rules thankyou.
On with the saddle and stuff and off to the mounting block. As soon as human got on I wanted to be off. I didn't want Frank to go without me. Human was her grumpyness today and shouted at me several times to blooming well stand still until she was settled on board. Well I am sorry human but I want to get going so come on sort yourself out. We finally set off with Frank for a wee pootle down the bridlepath.
We met several dog walkers. The lovely black labby who isn't in the least bit interested in horses was off his lead but he is ok. Then we saw a wee ginger thing in the distance. His handlers not only put him on the lead but went in a different field. Hehe. Zoe the dog eater on the loose.
We went on a bit further then popped into the field for a trot, I wanted a canter but it wasn't going to happen today. Frank wasn't feeling like trotting today so we stayed in walk. He has looked after us before now so it was our turn to take care of him.
Back out onto the bridlepath and two choccy labs this time. They got put on their leads and stopped to watch us go by. They were VERY interested in us.
Frank popped into the field, my human called him naughty but he insisted it was TW who was in charge of steering. She claimed it wasn't her choice. Hehe. These humans do make me chuckle. Human wouldn't let me eat any of the yummy lush grass in this field. Still grumpy then.
Back out onto the bridlepath and Frank and I stop for a bite to eat. Hawthorn mainly with a few clivers and what grass I could get without her grumpyness seeing.
Onto the village road. TW as is her way jumps off and walks the last bit.
When we got back I went back in my room for my breakfast. No salad today and only a carrot for veggybols. Not really very inventive is it human? When I said sort out the veggybols you could have at least made more of an effort I think.
When I had finished we went back to my field. Human moved some fencing for me and even chopped down some salad that was growing at the edge of my field. Ta human two nice big piles of salad. Yum. I will tuck in later when I have had my fill of new grass.
The Stallion is coming to see me tomorrow. Fantastic. He ALWAYS brings yummy things. I do like the Stallion.
