2nd January

Today the Stallion, the Grandfoal and human arrived. A bit late but not quite as late as yesterday. They had between them my breakfast bowl and a lovely  bag of veggybols supplied by YMF for me today. Yum. I have had my fill of grass and realised human isn't going to take it away so I can slow down a bit and not try and eat it all in one go.....consequently not so many piles for the poo picking fairy today.

Human was chatting to the man who owns the land I live on by one of the gates when a group of walkers went to climb over his gate.......oops. He promtly told them not to and pointed them in the direction of the public footpaths. They then made their way into my field, kindly putting their dogs on leads. One had the audacity to call me "Dobbin" bloody DOBBIN??? Of all things I am not a dobbin. I ignored him and concentrated on my grass instead.

Tomorrows the day. Rosie arrives. I have said I will wait in my room to greet her. We can have a wee chat and get to know each other a bit first that way. I am so looking forward to not being on my own again.

  1. Ooh I am glad you are enjoying yor grass Zoe. We came home yesterday from Leics. as hubby was driving I looked about and saw lots of horses in their fields, some with their coats on and a group standing like statues lol. It did look like they were posing for a photo.
I hope you and Rosie become firm friends. Oooooh no you are certainly not a dobbin! We saw hikers as well in fields climbing up a steep slope with their sticks.
