Bob here
Well we've all survived the winter. It's been pretty wet for the most part. A wee bit of that fluffy white stuff that sends human into panic mode.
We've finally finished all the grass but the good news is the new spring grass is starting to come through. Hurrah we all love spring grass. We are still getting hay and eating it so human keeps giving it to us.
Monkey has been in trouble, big time. In his haste to chase me off one of the many piles of hay he knocked human over. She smacked her head on the floor (should have been wearing a helmet perhaps?) and got sore on her hind quarters. She was ok, could have been a lot worse, she needs to stop making a fuss. Her specs didn't fare quite so well, and after a very expensive trip to the eye doctor man she has shiny new ones. Monkey didn't even apologise he just said she shouldn't have been there in his way.
Me and Monks have had our winter erm hygiene visit. We both had some small beans.
Zoe and I had the dentist out. I was especially good for the lovely Sophie.
And we all had our hooflets trimmed.
All in all a very expensive month for human. But of course we are worth every penny of her carrot money.
I've not been getting out and about a great deal. Human has become a bit of a fairweather rider in her old age. Zoe says she used to ride in pretty much any weather years ago.
Humans colt foal Jamie sent a big ball for me to play with. Nah not really interested but thanks for the offer. He claims other horses love to play with them. I'd rather be eating to be honest.
