Was it worth it?

Yeah yeah I know we've been very lax at blogging.

We've been so busy eating hay and taking human out and well you know how it goes. We've still got a little grass left that human is rationing for us. She is hoping it's going to last until March. I doubt it human. 

Human hasn't been well again. That same thing that put her in horsepital last year has recurred. Luckily she got an appointment with the human vet this time and it's not getting any worse but does mean she is unable to let me take her out for a decent wee plod or use her bike. 

Today I got to take her out. Well I say take her out, it's true she did ride sort of. All the way from the yard back to my field. That's only about 600 human steps.  Honestly it took longer to get me dressed for riding than it did actually be on board. Was it worth it even though it was uncomfortable for human? Oh yes. Human was very happy. So happy she forgot to give me my sweeties. We have an agreement, she gets on board, I take her for a plod, if we end the plod still with human on board (as opposed to being in a heap on the floor) I get sweeties. Works for me. She says I can have them tomorrow if she remembers. Ok human I'll hold you to that. 

Zoe is holding her weight well, she's back in with me and Monkey. I'm pleased about that. She still gets a bucket of food which neither Monkey nor I get. So unfair. 

Today human went to pop Monkey in his stable only to find someone else had filled it with bedding and bales of straw! Human wasn't happy. Monkey can't be left tied up for very long at all as he gets himself tangled up with the lead rope.
