Zoe here,
I think Bob has told you our human isn't well at all. She isn't in horsepital anymore and we have seen very little of her.
This was supposed to be the last month I had to work. I had planned to retire at the end of this month. No real reason. I'm more than capable of taking humans for wee plods and even not so ploddy plods. Human says I should retire while I'm well enough to enjoy it and has thanked me for all the fun I've given her and others over the years.
I was expecting to have some nice plods out with human and others this month but that hasn't happened. Just an unfortunate set of circumstances and timing. But the good news is the last ride I took human on was fabulous so even if I never get to take her out again I will remember it as one of the best rides we have had. Ending on a good note is always good.
So imagine my surprise when on Tuesday human turns up with of all people our very own The Grandfoal Amber.Human sits in the tea room with a cuppa while The Grandfoal Amber does all the work, then even better The Grandfoal Amber then asks me to take her out for a wee plod. How amazing was that. A proper Grand Day Out.
Back to the Stallion doing all the work again but the good news is human is at least coming with him even if she doesn't do much apart from feed us yummy sweeties like carrots. I can cope with that.
