Extra breakfast

Human was her usual early self. She came to my field and didn't bother cleaning it, just collected me and off we went.

I went in my room for a wee munch before getting dressed to set off on the longest ride we have done since last summer.

Human wanted me to take her to the riding school so she can book a lesson for us. She checked the weather forecast.....not too hot, no rain and off we went.

Onto the not so busy today for some reason road

Onto a stable estate for humans......oh heck the heavens opened, hail, big ol' fat rain, the lot. Human and I were both soaked to the skin....I thought you said you checked the weather forecast?

Onto a short bridleway

And destination reached the riding school.

Human hopped off, she had forgotten to bring a headcollar or lead rope so the very lovely Katie held me while human popped into the office to book us a lesson. Next Fri at 11am. I am going to be pooped. Long ride there, have a lesson and long ride home again.

On human got and we set off for home. All in all it took us 1hr 50mins from leaving the yard to getting back. Pretty good I rekon. Human only wanted me to walk as she wanted to see how long it took us. When I am going for a lesson I don't need to be tired when I get there. That was fine by me.

When we got back I got a double breakfast. Human said I had earned it by being my usual perfect self. I had worked very hard for her. Who am I to refuse when you put it like that human.

On with my nightie and back out to my field. She sorted out a clean bucket of water and cleaned my field before heading off home leaving me to re-fuel ready for another day.

My saddle needs altering. I have lost weight and it's a bit wide for me....get it done soon human please. Note I never once complained...I don't do complaining. Well not often anyway.
