Round the space centre and home

Human was super early again today. I came in with her and did my normal go in my room for a wee munch. It's going to be really really hot today so I got dressed to take human out early.
She isn't such a nervous nellie these days, in fact more like my human of pre-exploding head days. It's great I love it. Days like today are what she calls "what I dreamt about doing as a child days". Well isn't it fabulous that I am making her dreams come true? A bit on the late side but you know what they say.......better late than never.
It's great having my shoes back on. I can go wherever I want now and not have to worry about things hurting my hooflets. Makes it much nicer to carry human. Not that I ever complained mind. Human just knew I wasn't happy.
So off we set. Just the two of us. Over the scary road. Not much traffic about today.

All the way down the bridlepath to the space centre. It was particularly noisy there today. Big heavy machinery doing "stuff". I didn't take a great deal of notice of it really. Human was a bit more wary. Past the house and between some fields. We only went a bit further on before turning round and coming home.

We got a nice clear spot to cross back over the road. Sometimes it can be difficult there, traffic first one way then the other. Only not today.
When we got back I got my breakfast and finished up the bit of hay I had left. Back out to my field.
Human has taken down some more of the fencing as the man is coming to top the fields soon we hope. He needs to be able to get right across to Robbie and Rosies field.
Today was a perfect day. I do hope we have more of these again. I began to despair of ever doing this again but here we are, plodding the highways and byeways of Nottingham together again.

Human had to adjust the vids as she seems to have tilted it the wrong way. Honest she wasn't drunk haha. It gets a better shot of my very super duper mobile ears though

  1. Those are super duper ears, what a lovely ride you had, I like how your ears were up and back taking in everything. Lovely. X.

  2. Your Mom was so right, watching your ears made it even more like we were riding with you! And the doing what you dreamt of as a child thing, my Mom agrees 100%. She tells Dad that when she's with me she's a young girl all over again, though with her biggest dream come true! It makes me feel even more special when I know that.

Can you explain something to me please Zoe, as you know I do not ride i do not own a horse and never have, my question is this , why do horses sometime not have shoes? I thought all horses had them, sorry if i am asking a daft question but as you can tell i know nothing about you lovely creatures. Thank you. X
