Crikey it's busy today
Human arrived bright and early today. Fabulous. I couldn't wait for her to get to my field so stood by the gate. She brought fresh water to top up my water bucket. A quick clean of my field and we were on our way back to the yard. It's another lovely sunny day, not quite as hot as it's been in recent days so I wasn't suprised when out comes the saddle and stuff. I went in my room for a wee munch first then came out to get pampered. I got brushed, my mane plaited up in a running plait. It helps to keep me cool if it's off my neck. Some stuff on to stop me itching, perfume to keep the flies off and finally got dressed to take human out. Off we set. Oh right the triangle ride it is then. The road was very busy. Human was quite relieved to get off that road and onto one of the side roads. Although who should we meet but some huge tractory type thing with flashing lights and very noisy. It slowed right down for me which was nice. On the way home back on the busy road we could hear an emergency vehicle speeding towards us. Human tensed up.....she is a numpty as if I would do anything. It was an ambulance. As soon as it saw us it slowed and turned off it's sirens. Why do we always meet these vehicles on corners so they don't see us 'til the last moment? Back to the yard and in my room for some well earned breakfast. Human faffed about cleaning out a bin for TW so the rats don't eat the boys feed. Spirits human came in my room while human was there and they had a wee chat then started hugging. Very strange behaviour for my human I must say. Human seems to have sorted out the problems of getting the headcam straight now. Just the date/time stamp to sort out and we are good to go. Best bit of course are my super duper mobile ears. On with the nightie and perfume and back out to my field. Bye human.

Good grief that road is busy today!!
ReplyDeleteZoe, you are a *treasure*! I'm going to show that video to my two girls as a proper inspiration as to "how to behave in traffic". Or at the very least, they'll appreciate our quiet country roads here.
