Rain rain go away

It's been rain, rain, rain here. I was waiting your arrival this morning human. I wasn't cold but was wet (and hungry).

I was hoping for breakfast in the field again

today but no such luck.
We came intogether. There was a strange "thing" on the path outside my gate. I snorted my way towards it, head up showing it how tall I am. It didn't move. Silly me when I got closer I saw it was a barrow. Human had left it there to take in with us today. She had used it to take hay to the boys, last time she kept forgetting to take it back to the yard and TW evetually did it for her.
Oh yes my room was all ready, water for drinking and hay for eating even my breakfast all prepared and ready to eat was awaiting my arrival. Human says I can spend the day in my room as it's so wet out. I get a chance to dry off and just a break from the relentless wet stuff. The weather forecast isn't improving. Heavy rain forecast for ages yet apparantly.
It's nice and peaceful in my room. No Frank to chat to and no Bracken to irritate me. Plenty to eat. Think I might have a wee snooze before human comes back.

Human came back late afternoon. I got my raincoat on and out I went. It's still raining, raining, raining.  Oh no yuk my raincoat is leaking. I don't like all this rain at all.
I heard the gate go and looked up to see who it was.......it was only human. She has been gone a few hours but has come back to me. I was so pleased to see her. I even left the new grass to run over to her. She checked under my rug...yup human it's leaked hasn't it. Thankgoodness she has my headcollar with her. She dropped it on the floor.....wtf?.....and went through the fence to Rose just to check if her rug had leaked. It hadn't.
It is funny watching human climb through fencing and trying to walk through mud with her posh shoes on and non horsey clothes. The paint on her face wasn't running in the rain like she thought it might. Her mane was soaking wet and dripping water onto her face. Welcome to my world human.
Imagine my surprise to see Frank and Brack in their rooms all tucked up in their jammies for the night. I went in my room for ahhhh yum yet more hay. That Bracken had better not start anything tonight or there will be trouble. Fancy a midnight party boys?
