Friday and yet again human arrives and spends time chatting and drinking in the tea room with TW rather than coming to see to me first.
Eventually she turns up and while she is cleaning my field notices a very large irish wolfhound dog harrassing poor Rosie. Rose was a star and didn't take any notice of it. It was of course off it's lead in Rosies field and ignoring it's handlers attempts to call it over. It is only a young dog but it's going to get hurt if its handler allows it to continue behaving like that around horses. It has happened before.
Human finishes cleaning my field and I come in with her. I go in my room for a munch and a chat with Frank. No Bracken to annoy today.
TW and human decided to let us take them for a wee plod down the bridlepath. Frank had a moment at a human with a child on it's shoulders hehe. We got round the corner and oops there is that blooming irish wolfhound loose on the bridlepath. I felt human starting to get her knickers in a twist. The handler grabbed it's collar. Frank and I nipped into the farmers field. Next thing I know human is shouting it's loose behind us. She asked me to turn round so I could see it. I don't even mind dogs running round me but hate it when they chase me and will take off to keep human safe if they chase. TW and Frank were shouting rude words at the dog. It's handler shouted it "never does this normally".......NOT TRUE! She had real trouble catching it. Blooming thing wanted to play. Once she had caught it Frank and I carried on our merry way.
We had some trots and some canters. Human was riding remarkably well again today. When she asked me to slow down I did. I still need to take care of her as her riding confidence is still quite fragile and isn't quite back up to it's proper level.
When we got back I had my breakfast and some more munch in my room while the humans drank more tea and ate pizza this time.
Back out to my field when Frank went back out to his.
Mom hates peoples that don't watch their dogs. Our neighbor has two goldens that chase deer. Mom saw them running my paddock fenceline last month and called the owners. Her says if they come in the trick fence this summer they'll by history!!!
