I am so good

Human was rather late today. Seems she arrived early enough but chose to spend time drinking coffee and eating jam tarts in the tea room rather than coming to see me.
She turns up eventually with my boy Nugs human. They leave me in the field and go off to look at some fields at the bottom of Robs field. Hmmm what exactly are they up to.
Back to me and instead of cleaning my field and doing my water I set off for the yard. I did manage to have a wee bite of salad en route. Clever huh? Only human and Nugs human wanted to go look at the field where the poncey warmbloods are. Ok thats fine with me I don't mind one bit standing admiring a couple of handsome boys in the sunshine. Into my room for some hay and had to put that Bracken in his place a few times. Something is up not sure what. I wonder if my boy Nug and his friend Indy are going to move here. That would be fantastic wouldn't it. I have not seen my  boy for a long time but boys always remain mummys boys don't they?
Tom the hoofyman was on the yard when we got there and the men had come to take the travel box away to make sure it's safe for Frank and I to go out  to parties in.
Human had her magic boots on today and when Franks human suggested we go for a wee plod I thought great. Off we set. With Nugs human bringing Ruby the gym bunny along for a walk. I was well up for a fast one. Human didn't seem to keen.
BUT we got to a place where Frank and his human wanted to canter. So they went in the field and took off and me being Zoe the wonder horse carried on in walk on the bridlepath like I didn't have a care in the world. It didn't end there....oh no... blimey I am fantastic to my human. I know she has issues with me cantering in company so when me and Frank had a wee yeehaa moment as soon as asked me to slow down to a trot I did. In the past I have to admit to ignoring her and carrying on racing...oops. I know she is still slightly wimpy so have to take care of her. The racing can come later when she is feeling better.
She was so pleased I did that for her.
On the way home Frank and I stopped for a little munch on some salad. Some walker was sooooooooooooooo rude. Looking at me he said, "I can see you have had plenty of carrots" How rude was that?
Back to the yard and I got my breakfast in my room along with more hay. Human was still telling anyone who would listen (whether they were interested or not) how fab I had been. She is so proud of me and rightly so.
Off went the humans for lunch at the garden centre while I stayed in my room with the boys in theirs to chat to.
When they came back I went back to my field, human finally got round to cleaning it and moved a few posts for me as well.
What a lovely day it's been.

  1. That was a nice day for you Zoe. But how rude of the man to say he could see you had had too many carrots they are good for you, maybe he should eat a few eh? Silly man.
