You might have told me

.......you were going away without me. All the way to Dutchland without me. Yes you human. How long have you known? The good news is I am borrowing Frankies human. Yey, hurrah. Wonder if I can con encourage her to give me more to eat. Some hay would be nice and a great big bowl full of yummy breakfast. I like lots of veggybols if you don't mind.
I suspect she will be mean like my human. Do you know she actually called me "fattie" several times today. So very rude.
Anyway human turned up early. Cleaned my field. There was lots to do as she hadn't bothered yesterday in her fancy clothes and shoes.
I saw Rosie disappearing through the gate with her human. Great I will have girl company at the yard. Nice.
I walked down with human. Stood nicely while I got brushed and brushed and brushed. Yeah sorry about that human. I got a bit carried away with rolling in the mud.
Into my room for a munch and a chat with Franks. That Bracks was very grumpy today. No idea what was up with him.
Norm the lovely saddle man who has nice hands turned up and sorted out Rosies saddle. haha love. Your retirement days are over m'dear. She got to take her human out, just down the bridlepath. 1st ride out for that pair in a long long time.
I just stayed quietly in my room and watched the comings and goings. Frank got his legs washed. Who would have thought he had white feathers? I thought they were supposed to be mud coloured. As for what happened to poor Bracks......I blush to think about what his human was doing to him and in front of Rosie and the other humans. How about a bit of privacy for such intimate goings on huh? Honestly humans have no respect.
All too soon it was time for us to go back to our field. I was a bit sad on the walk back as I knew I wouldn't be seeing human for a while. I know we will both be ok but I still felt sad. I know human did too.
See you when you get back human. I am going to try and enjoy the peace and quiet of long days to munch. Have a good time. Don't even think of bringing me any of those cloggy nonsense shoes back from Dutchland. I will have hoofyman shoes please.

  1. Dear Zoe , I think you exaggerate when you say I called you Fatty "several" times! ;) . I would say that it was lovely to see you today but you obviously have the hump with me and stayed at the bottom of the field. Both times I came to see you!! I noticed that in between m visits you snuck up the the feed bowl I left you and picked out the carrots and left the rest. very impressive!! The boys would be proud. See you tomorrow! Nx
