Human came early and cleaned my field today. There was lots of cleaning to do and some of it had frozen solid to the ground making it hard for her to get up. Serves her right for being so lazy.
I came in with her leaving Rose in the field. She didn't even shout goodbye today.
I went in my room for a munch and human sneaked off to spy on Rose from a long way off by Sophies field. Rose was doing nothing. No charging about, only one neigh. Do you think she is learning I am coming back?
We had a repeat of human getting cross again while getting me dressed for riding. I think she finally cottened on to me wanting to finish my hay first so grumpy old git only took me away from my hay and tied me up on the yard to finish getting me dressed. Miserable old human.
We went out again with Frank. Human was very relaxed what a difference from last week when she was like a plank. We went over the busy main road and up towards the space centre.
At one poing Franks human shouted about a loose dog in the field. But it wasn't it was the biggest hugest fox you have ever seen. That settled human down a bit. Honesly humans are such nervous creatures. I will look after you human I promise.
It was a bit stoney by the space centre but only for a very short way. I didn't like that. I still don't have any shoes on. We turned round and came back. Nothing to disturb human. All too soon we were back in the village.
There was a man with a really big white stick that he was waggling about. We walked passed him and he said he heard Franks bells. I am not sure I like men with waggling sticks.
Back onto the yard. Human slithers off and into my room I go. Hay still there. I thought Brack might have eaten it but he hadn't thank goodness. Human passes me my well earned breakfast and goes off for a drink.
She sneaked out to spy on Rose again. Rose still doing nothing.
Out to the field I go. A nice pile of hay for me in the field. Hurrah. A big pile of hay for NRH to put out for me later. According to human lots of white stuff is going to fall from the sky later. I don't care. If it means I get extra hay.
The Stallion is bringing human tomorrow. I hope he remembers to bring mints for me.
Someone else was shouting when Rosie came into the stable Zoe do you know who it was? I thought it was Bracken or Eol but apparently not......how odd!

ReplyDeleteWow !! We also have fox that roam where we ride. No white stuff here! I have a sunburn from wearing short sleeves today! WOO HOO!
ReplyDeleteHello Zoe you mention the space centre, would that be the one we see sign posted as we go along the m69 when we are in Leics visiting our daughter and family. We see a sign post for the space centre. We drive along this road when we go in to Leicester catching the park and ride bus.

Ps forgot to say, we have photographs sent to us by our daughter in Leics this morning of our granddaughters out in the snow there, told them they can just keep it down there! For once we are having a heat wave up here in Scotland compared to the south x. ;-)
