Tom-Tom

Human did her usual arrive early and clean the field thing. She put my jingle bells on and I walked in with her to the nice sound of bells jingling.
I got dressed for riding. Blimey human, three days in a row slow down a bit dear. We again only went in the school. There I was meandering about, hither and thither, stop start, stop start doing whatever human asked me to, when we heard this enormous noise t'other side of the hedge. Ok so some guy decides now is a good time to start up a petrol hedge trimmer and start trimming the hedge that borders the school. Not good for wimpy human.
We went down the other end of the school away from the noise and did some more trendy bendy stuff. Stop start, stop start. Walk trot, walk trot, wiggle our way sideways when all of a sudden that horrid dog Archie the airdale came flying up to the fence that borders the bottom of the school. He was barking and flying about like a mad thing.
Ok so at the top of the school we have hedge trimming and at the bottom we get Archied. Not good for a wimpy human. Poor thing was constantly on the alert to see where Archie was. If I know he is there he doesn't bother me. Sometimes he catches me unaware then I might step sideways. Human KNOWS this. So why she was so bothered about him is beyond me. He can't get to me to chase me. Silly human.
Who should arrive just as we were finishing up?........oh yes my very own Tom Tom. The lovely hoofyman.

This is Tom Tom in his other guise as the Black Knight. Boo hiss.....

Human slithered off and I got undressed. Had to wait for my breakfast though until the hoofyman had finished trimming my hooflets. They do look nice now.
When he had finished I got my  breakfast and the hoofyman had a cuppa. He and human stood about chatting for ages.
When he had gone I got my nightie back on and out to the field we went.
Human did a bit of chopping down the long side of my field, a quick glance at her watch thing and she was off to catch her bus home.
I wonder if I will be asked to take her in the school again tomorrow?
