Snow go

Human was a bit late today. She had been to check the fencing with Franks human to see if it was all working right in Franks field. Poor Frank and Brack had to spend the night in their rooms last night after being found scared and in the wrong places with lots of broken fencing.
Human came to me after the boys had gone back out. She brought me breakfast and hay. The white stuff is starting to go. The grass is still frozen though hence human is letting me have loads of yummy timothy hay. She cleaned the field. Not hard for her today. I had carefully placed the droppings all close together at the top of the field. I like to help out human from time to time. Human checked Rosie and I were all warm and toasty and broke the ice on our water troughs and buckets. Human put some hay in the barrow and left it so that NRH could kindly put it out for me later.
Human won't let me have it all she says I will just eat it in one go then have nothing to last me overnight. Yeah....and?? Your point human? If you gave me enough to eat I wouldn't be able to eat it all in one go would I? See yet another example of me being starved by human. That was it.
Off she toddled to catch her bus to her human stable. Byeeeeeeee

  1. zoe i wish you'd come by and clean up all the bits of hay that baasha ignores and so they blow all over the front yard. you can clean up the bits that he lets fall from his mouth and they fall outside the stall and he won't eat hay that's fallen onto the icy ground. i thought if only i had a horse who cleaned up his food, it would be much tidier around here.

  2. I'll help. What a silly boy wasting food like that. Clearly he isn't starved like I am. Can I come and live with you?

  4. Zoe, Your human should look into getting you a nibble net or slow feed small mesh net. It might be annoying at first pulling bits of hay through but it will last you for hours and keep you busy while slowing your consumption! My boys are used to them now!
