Spot the Zoe

Can you see me? I merge with the hedges. Clever camoflage huh? I like hiding from human. It's such fun.

This morning human was on her way to my field walking through the village when she met a dog walker who told her two horses were out in the farmers field that isn't enclosed.
So human drops my breakfast off in my field and goes in search of the escaped horses. Boys of course. Two of the poncey warmbloods.

They wouldn't let her get anywhere near them So she rang for help from another human  and just kept watch keeping them in the farmers field. They made a couple of bids for freedom. If they got back on the bridlepath they could have got anywhere. Humans have no chance of keeping up with a running horse, could have been so dangerous for them. Although chances are they would have just gone to the next patch of yummy grass.
Eventually they calmed down with the aid of a couple of MY mints and one let her put my headcollar on him and the lead rope round the other ones neck. Then they waited for another human who was bringing headcollars, lead ropesand buckets of food. They did stand really nicely for my human until help arrived. The smell of MY remaining mints in her pocket probably had something to do with it. Human only gave my last mints to them for being good boys. They weren't blooming good. If they had been good they wouldn't have been out of their field would they?
They got returned to their field with some breakfast to keep them happy for a bit. Naughty boys.

Human came back to my field and cleaned it for me. I had eaten my breakfast by then. She had no mints left as the boys had eaten them all. Totally unacceptable in my opinion to give ALL my mints away to boys too stupid to realise how dangerous it is out there.
We had planned on going out for a walk but my headcollar had gone with the boys. Lazy old human couldn't be bothered to go fetch it and come back. So I get a day off. I am not complaining though.
