Goodnight Solar Eclipse

A sad sad day today. Human and NRH turned up to bring us both in. Sadly not for a massage today. I went in my room. No hay and no breakfast. Then human disappeared. I waited and waited and waited but no human.
Eventually she came back all sad. The lovely Solar Eclipse had gone down in her field and couldn't no matter how hard she tried get back up again. It was cold and wet and horrid. She was just too old and too tired. The humans stayed with her talking their nonsense like they do and stroking her until her human and the vet arrived. The vet put her to sleep. All very peaceful and with her own human at her side. Goodnight old girl we will all miss you.


 
Human gave me extra cuddles when she got back. I then got my breakfast and some yummy hay. Frank and Bracks took humans out for a ride across the road. I stayed in my room. Human went in the school and cleared some of the weeds out. She coudn't go and clean my field because at this point the vet still hadn't arrived and someone needed to be there to take the vet to Solars field.
When the boys got back they went in their rooms as well. The humans went off to see some horses show jumping and were gone for ages. I thought we were all there for the night.
No the human came back and took us back to our fields. My field still hasn't been cleaned. Disgusting behaviour from the human. Honestly I have been so neglected today.  Human forgot to pick out my hooflets, didn't even brush the mud off me. I look a right mess. I was so embarrassed to walk through the village looking like that. 

Hopefully tomorrow human will not neglect me quite as much. I need a good grooming. She really needs to get herself sorted. This just isn't on. I mean you don't keep a human and brush yourself do you?
