7th January

Oh my goodness what a day. Rosie took a dislike to Frankie and he to her. They were both in their rooms she went to bite him, he kicked the wall of the stable.
So Rosie went in the school. She was really really unhappy in there. Stressing, running up and down and up and down. Frank could hear her from his room so he was getting his knickers in a twist and spinning round and round.
The humans decided to put Rosie and I out together in my field as Rosie was stressing yesterday in hers. It was ok for a bit then she said something about being the boss and I objected to that. Cue lots of kicking, she kicked my bum,  I kicked hers. NRH was shouting at Rosie to stop it....she didn't so neither did I.
Very quickly we established I am the boss, I had to keep moving her about reminding her I can and would kick if she challenged me. Sensibly she agreed.

Human spent ages in the field watching us making sure all was ok. We were both grazing but I was wary of her and I am sure she quite rightly was wary of me. Gradually I let her a bit closer.
Eventually the humans decided we were safe to leave together and went off to do some visiting. They went to visit my boy Nuggets human and meet the lovely boy himself. Indy was his normal grumpy self.
It was just starting to get dark when they humans came back. We were still grazing quietly. NRH wanted to put Rosie in her side of the field but extend her field. They spent a bit of time sorting out the fencing so she had the whole run of the field before putting her in there. Rosie wasn't happy and was stressing. I of course wasn't bothered where she was as long as she understands who is in charge.
Do you know the worst bit of today? I didn't get my breakfast until it was almost dark. I mean how disgraceful is that?

  1. Ooooooooh dear Zoe. How naughty of Rosie to misbehave like that!! So long as you keep her in her place. So breakfast became supper, yes that is a disgrace. ;-)
