12th January

Well yesterday human said as soon as the posts come she would spend some time with me and we could do something. She kept her word.
As soon as she arrived in my field I clocked that she didn't have my breakfast bowl with her. Great that means I am getting out of the field.
She started to clean my field when it started raining so she abandoned that idea and in I came. I went in my room with my lovely deep bed and had a wee munch while human had a drink and a sit down. Lazy old thing.
She put my bridle on and the long line and off to the school we went to do.....when I say we I really mean I...some running round in circles. I was well up for it. Walking, trotting and cantering round and round. I was just enjoying myself when these men walked onto the yard. Human asked me to stop while she found out what they wanted. They were there to take a tree down is all. So I went back to running round and round some more. I am surprised human wasn't dizzy. I was having a great time.
Back to my room for some breakfast and a cool down. Human left me there while she went off to clean my field. Someone had turned my water off so there was almost no water in my trough. Human was rather cross about this. Turns out someone had turned it off and forgotten to turn it back on. They got distracted by their horses escaping. Reasonable explanation I thought.
I went out to my field. Rosie was waiting for me. She is starting to calm down quicker which is a good thing. I needed, really really needed to roll and roll and roll. So Rosie started rolling too. Human said it looked like synchronised rolling. Maybe we could do it as an olympic event. They have synchronised swimming so I don't see the difference do you? I would quite like to have an olympic medal.
Human made sure the trough had filled up, finished cleaning my field and off she went.
It was nice spending some time with human. I hope we spend some time together again tomorrow.
