31st December

Well that's it another year gone.
My year started with human recovering from a broken hand when she slipped on the ice. I had  no idea this time last year what was in store for me. Some big big changes were about to happen in my life.
In Feb I was hit with a big shock. We were on the move from the place I had called home for 5 years. Saying goodbye to my friends there we set off. I found myself in a huge huge field with a nice but stressy girl next door called Grace.
We weren't there long just a few months and we were on the move again. I found myself in an equally large field only this time I had a stable and a school to use. I love it here. I hope I never ever have to move again. Moving is very stressful.
I heard that my lovely friend Portia had been pts. So sad. I still think of her often. I wish she had come here. She would have loved it here.
Little Lu came to join me here for a short while, then she got moved onto a new home. I miss her too and often wonder how she is doing in her new home.
I have had some wonderful times here. Taken human out and about on some amazing rides. The most notable was a 13.5 mile ride in June. Poor human could barely walk when we got back.
The Grandfoal has gone up a class at the riding school and can now ride me without being on a lead rein. She is growing up so fast.
In September human changed my saddle, we had some fitting issues so didn't ride a great deal.
I have made some lovely new friends here as has human.
Disaster struck in November when human was ill and had to be in horsepital for a while. The other humans were fantastic and I thank them as does human for taking such good care of me while she wasn't around.
We have ended the year not doing anything. Human isn't allowed to ride (or drive). We are hoping things will start to get back to normal. She has a brain scan booked for next week so hopefully that will show up in detail what if anything needs to be done to make her better.

Human thinks I don't know she moved a fence post today so I can get to the rest of the grass....little does she know.
